Groupe M6 prepares for the UEFA EURO 2024
Groupe M6 will broadcast 13 of the 25 matches of the UEFA EURO 2024, with a new team of presenters and additional coverage on its regular programmes.

On 14 June 2024, the UEFA European Football Championship will kick off in Munich. In the host country of Germany, RTL Deutschland is partnering with Deutsche Telekom on the broadcast of 12 matches, accompanied by a team of experts and presenters in one of Europe’s most modern studios.

In France, Groupe M6 has acquired the broadcasting rights to 13 of the 25 matches, including seven preliminary-round matches, two round of 16 matches and two quarter finals. Flagship channel M6 will also broadcast one of the two semi-finals followed by the final on 14 July in Berlin.

Groupe M6 is preparing for the kick-off with a team of experienced presenters and sports journalists. Xavier Domergue, who has been a sports presenter for M6 for four years, will be joined by Carine Galli, Smail Bouabdellah and Laurie Samama. Christophe Dugarry and Alain Boghossian, who were on the winning French team at the 1998 European Football Championship, will further strengthen the team of presenters and commentators.

Besides broadcasting the matches, Groupe M6 will offer special coverage as part of its regular programming, including in the news programmes Le 12.45 and Le 19.45. After every match, M6 will broadcast 100% Euro, a programme hosted by Smaïl Bouabdellah offering match highlights and exclusive interviews. Génération Mbappé, a previously unseen documentary about a new generation in the French national soccer team, will also be shown. In addition, popular comedy series Scènes de ménage (Domestic quarrels) will air an episode entirely dedicated to the UEFA EURO.

In 2016, when France hosted the European Football Championship, the final match between France and Portugal attracted around 20.8 viewers – a record for a live broadcast on M6.

The 13 matches broadcast on M6 will also be available on new streaming service M6+, alongside statistics, match schedules, tournament tables, and other interesting information about the championship.

Following the UEFA EURO 2024, Groupe M6 will also broadcast the FIFA World Cup 2026 and 2030, showing 54 games in each competition.
