The countdown is on! In just one month, the Fifa World Cup 2026 kicks off across the United States, Mexico and Canada – and Groupe M6 is preparing an XXL editorial offering across M6, M6+, RTL Radio (France) and social media.
As the only free-to-air broadcaster of the tournament in France, Groupe M6 will air 54 matches live, including – for the first time in its history – the Fifa World Cup final.
David Larramendy, Chairman of the Executive Board of Groupe M6, described the tournament as a shared emotional experience that transcends football: “We all remember those moments when everything seems to stop: a last-minute goal, a nerve-racking penalty shoot-out, an evening that brings people together far beyond football. That’s the collective emotion we want audiences to experience.”
“For Groupe M6, being the only free-to-air broadcaster of the competition in France is a source of pride, but above all a commitment: making this major event accessible to everyone and across every screen.”
