For over a decade, Groupe M6 has been a major partner of ‘Les Bleues’, the women’s national football team in France. The company has previously broadcast the UEFA Women’s Euro 2013, the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2015 and 2023, alongside qualifying games and friendly matches since 2018.
When the French team heads to Brazil for the FIFA Women’s World Cup in 2027, the French audience will be able to tune in on Groupe M6’s family of channels to follow their favourite team as they compete among 23 teams for the prestigious title between 24 June and 25 July.
David Larramendy, Chairman of the Executive Board of Groupe M6, says: “We are very proud to continue our partnership with FIFA around these prestigious competitions. This agreement is fully in line with Groupe M6’s long-standing commitment to the development of women's sport on our channels.”
As previously reported, Groupe M6 has secured the rights to broadcast both the FIFA Men’s World Cup 2026 in the US, Canada and Mexico, and the FIFA Men’s World Cup 2030 in Spain, Portugal and Morocco, making Groupe M6 the official French broadcaster of the next three FIFA World Cups.
