Generative AI has transformed user behaviour by allowing people to ask for information, rather than searching for it themselves. With the new corporate website, Smartclip aims to match this shift, enabling visitors to engage in direct conversation about the Sidekicks platform, its specific AI agents, and their application in the media industry.

The Sidekicks website is the industry’s first corporate site to place AI agents at the forefront, representing a paradigm shift from search-and-navigation to ask-and-receive. Its primary function is to deliver immediate, relevant answers to questions about the platform and the company, while simultaneously showcasing Sidekicks’ core capabilities in a real-world setting. The site is powered by a dedicated AI agent built on Sidekicks’ technical foundation, leveraging open-source models and proprietary infrastructure.

What is Sidekicks?

Launched in July 2025 together with Smartclip subsidiary Realytics, Sidekicks aims to simplify cross-media advertising, unlock data insights and boost performance. Advertising professionals can use the platform to access support from a portfolio of AI agents – “sidekicks” – on topics across the entire advertising value chain. Since its introduction, Sidekicks has grown fast: In October 2025, RTL Deutschland launched a standalone, high-performance AI infrastructure to support Sidekicks, and in January 2026, Smartclip launched its first portfolio of AI agents.
