More emotion and more drama: the second season of Maxton Hall – Die Welt zwischen uns (Maxton Hall – The World Between Us) promises an even more intense continuation of Ruby and James's story. Harriet Herbig-Matten and Damian Hardung will return in the leading roles, alongside other cast members including Sonja Weißer, Ben Felipe, Fedja van Huêt, Runa Greiner, Justus Riesner, Andrea Guo, Frederic Balonier and Eli Riccardi.

The first season, produced by UFA Fiction, was the most successful international original series in Prime Video's history and ranked number one in the Prime Video charts in over 120 countries and regions. The six-part series premiered in Berlin in April 2024 and has won multiple awards since, including two Blauer Panther – TV & Streaming Awards. The first season was also named ‘Best Series of the Year’ at the 2024 Bambi Awards.

One year after the launch of the series, Prime Video is giving fans more insights into the highly anticipated second season. Just in time for the one-year anniversary, exclusive first-look images and a behind-the-scenes video have been released.

The second season of Maxton Hall is based on the book Save You, the second part of the bestselling novel series by author Mona Kasten.

Producers of the series are Markus Brunnemann and Ceylan Yildirim, who also serves as the head writer. Valentin Debler returns as producer. Martin Schreier from Traumfabrik directs the second season, with Martin Schlecht as the cinematographer.
