RTL Today Radio: Two years on air
New shows, new faces and more music: RTL Today Radio is celebrating its two-year anniversary with a new programming schedule.

RTL Today Radio, the English-language radio station from RTL Luxembourg, was launched on 1 March 2022. Powered by BCE’s StudioTalk solution, the online radio brings together music, news, local events and much more about life in the Grand Duchy. With several shows during the entire week, RTL Today Radio is Luxembourg’s only round-the-clock English radio offer.

The original team includes radio hosts and newscasters such as Sam Steen, Stephen Lowe, Melissa Dalton, Lisa Burke and Meredith Moss.

Sandra Bintz, Head of Digital Products and Deputy Content Director at RTL Luxembourg, says: “It is fantastic to see the progress our once little team has made, and more so the synergy developing with our existing brands. I'm extremely proud to look back at where we have come from and how far we can still push on.”

From Monday 4 March, listeners can enjoy a fresh line-up of programmes hosted by both familiar and new faces. Five new shows will entertain listeners throughout the day:

  • As Sam Steen, host of The Sam Steen Show, embarks on parental leave, Stephen 'Steps' Lowe will be taking over the morning shift with his new show Sunny Side Up, starting at 6:30
  • Jumping into the lunchtime slot is Melissa Dalton, bringing with her hallmark guests, games and fun tunes as part of The Melissa Dalton Show from 12:00-14:00
  • From 16:00, there will be a new programme called The Artist Hour, where the team will curate a whole hour of music dedicated to a single artist
  • The new evening show, The Mixtape, features Alice Monnat, who has stepped in before to cover shows for Today Radio – her new show promises to be full of great music to accompany listeners on their way home
  • Saturday listeners can also look forward to a brand-new show: From 13:00–15:00, Steve Miller presents Pumping On Your Stereo, two hours of fun upbeat music with some of the stories behind the music and a spotlight on upcoming live music in Luxembourg
