A showcase of Luxembourg’s musical talent
From 24 to 26 October, RTL’s studios transformed into a dynamic audition space thanks to the efforts of 15 RTL colleagues. Led by Elisabeth Conter, Project Manager Eurovision Luxembourg, and David Gloesener, Head of Radio Programmes & Head of Eurovision, the team ensured a seamless experience for artists and jury members alike.
“The auditions for the Luxembourg Song Contest 2026 marked our third edition, and once again we were amazed by the incredible diversity of artists and songs,” says David Gloesener. “The level of talent and creativity continues to grow year after year, making us proud of Luxembourg’s vibrant music scene.”
A celebration of diversity and creativity
A total of 83 original songs were performed by 58 contestants representing 17 different cultural backgrounds, all united by their passion for music and their connection to Luxembourg.
The jury – Karin Gunnarsson (Sweden), Gísli Berg (Iceland), Paul “Dr Eurovision” Jordan (UK), Ludovic-Alexandre Vidal (France) and Elsie Bay (Norway) – praised the high standard of performances, noting the “impressive stage presence and talent” of the finalists.
