French football fans will have the chance to follow the matches of the UEFA Euro 2024, which will take place in Germany between 14 June to 14 July 2024. As part of an ongoing partnership with UEFA, Groupe M6 has the rights to broadcast half of the matches in the competition.
The 13 matches, including games from the group stage, the quarter and the semi-finals, will be broadcast on flagship channel M6. The final, which will take place on 14 July in Berlin, will also be broadcast live on free-to-air television.
Nicolas de Tavernost, Chairman of the Executive Board of Groupe M6, says: “We are delighted to accompany the French team and all its supporters on the road to victory at Euro 2024. Everyone at Groupe M6 will be involved in showing our audience the best moments of this competition before the event and all the way until the final.”
Groupe M6 has been committed to broadcasting football for a long time – the partnership with Les Bleues, the women’s national football team in France, dates back a decade. Besides showing the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, Groupe M6 had the rights to broadcast the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2015 and the UEFA Women’s Euro 2013.
Looking ahead, Groupe M6 will show matches from the upcoming UEFA Women’s Euro 2025, the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027 and the UEFA Women’s Nations League in 2025. In 2022, it was also announced that M6 will be the official free-to-air TV broadcaster of the UEFA Champions League finals in 2025, 2026 and 2027. The channel will broadcast Europe’s most prestigious club competition to French people for the first time in its history.
