Corporate responsibility at Groupe M6: A campaign against bullying on children’s channel Gulli and an equal opportunities scholarship with the Lille School of Journalism.
Designed by and for children: A campaign against bullying

With 5 per cent of students in France indicating they are afraid to go to school due to harassment, according to a survey conducted in November 2023, Groupe M6 has launched an awareness campaign supported by Gulli, the leading children’s channel in France. Designed by and for children, the campaign – entitled 'Gulli, avec les enfants, contre le harcèlement' (Gulli, with children, against harassment) – is broadcast across all of Groupe M6’s channels and platforms, including Gulli, social networks and streaming service M6+.

Philippe Bony, Chairman of Gulli, says: “Our commitment to fighting bullying is unwavering. As the favourite channel of children and families in France, we have a duty to raise awareness and protect. With this campaign, we want to give children a voice so that they can express themselves, understand, and support and defend themselves.”

The campaign includes a manifesto named 'Déclaration des Super Cop's' (Declaration of the Super Cops), alongside three fictional films directed by Laëtitia Bertheuil and featuring 14 students from the town of Esbly in the Seine et Marne region. Groupe M6 is proud to support the fight against bullying with an initiative that highlights the collective power of children and their empathy.

Scholarship students at the Lille School of Journalism
Increasing diversity in the journalism and media industries

For the second year in a row, Groupe M6 is providing financial support for the equal opportunities scholarship offered by the Lille School of Journalism. The scheme aims to increase diversity in the journalism and media industries by offering students aged 18-26 a 30-week training programme. Taken alongside their higher education studies, the programme prepares them for their entrance exams for journalism schools. Thanks to Groupe M6, the number of students taking advantage of this opportunity has increased to 30.

Alongside providing financial support, Groupe M6 also offers internships in its editorial departments and mentoring by trained journalists. In 2024, 73 per cent of students who completed the scholarship gained a place in a journalism school of their choice. Groupe M6 is proud to continue its commitment to the academic training of journalism students and help shape the professionals of tomorrow, from all walks of life.
