Under the multi-year partnership, Fremantle will become the primary home for all of Nevermind’s film and TV projects, including a wide range of titles encompassing films, drama and documentaries. Spearheaded by CEO Global Drama Christian Vesper and COO Global Drama Seb Shorr, the deal will see Nevermind Pictures work closely together with Fremantle’s Global Drama division and international distribution team.

Nevermind Pictures has been co-founded by filmmaker and Academy Award-nominated filmmaker and actor Kristen Stewart, screenwriter Dylan Meyer and producer Maggie McLean. Their roles will vary on each project with Kristen directing, writing and/or acting, Dylan directing and writing and all three partners producing.

The founders of Nevermind join a prestigious collective of creatives at Fremantle, with other first-look deals already in place with the likes of Pablo and Juan de Dios Larraín’s Fabula, Luca Guadagnino, Paolo Sorrentino, Angelina Jolie, and Rachel Weisz and Polly Stokes’ Astral Projection. Fremantle also has ongoing partnerships with Edward Berger and his label Nine Hours, Johan Renck and Michael Parets’ Sinestra, Patrick Daly’s Caledonia Productions as well as ongoing collaborations with acclaimed writers and directors such as Michael Winterbottom.
