Social Match, with its team of over 120 experts in influencer marketing, content creation, channel management and paid advertising, has been fully acquired by We Are Era, RTL Group’s talent agency and digital studio. This acquisition integrates Social Match into We Are Era’s international network, which spans six European markets, enabling further expansion in influencer and community marketing and solidifying the company’s presence in the creator economy.

Founded by Robert Levenhagen, Social Match operates from offices in Berlin, Cologne and Münster, advising renowned brands such as Henkel, Casio, Thalia, Krombacher and Funk. The integration of Social Match into We Are Era will create numerous cross-media and internationalisation opportunities. The management team of Social Match, led by Martin Wroblewski and Bastian Schlochtermeyer, will report to the We Are Era leadership team, headed by Tobias Schiwek, CEO of We Are Era.

With the acquisition, which is pending approval from competition authorities in Germany and Austria, Social Match will gain access to We Are Era’s in-house talent agency, which represents 1,500 artists and creators across 12 European markets.
