As both an entertainment and information provider and employer we want people to be comfortable being themselves and to be celebrated for their identities and what makes them unique. In this spirit, we try to build a culture where we don't make assumptions or pass judgment on each other.
In the international environment in which we operate it is sometimes difficult to deduce the gender of an employee from a first name. To avoid misunderstandings and to allow our employees to express their gender preference our employees can add their preferred pronoun in their email signature and thus make a reference to their own gender identity.
As part of our efforts to be inclusive of all gender identities we thus also support employees who identify themselves outside the gender binary. By using their preferred pronouns in their email signature, our employees are given the opportunity to inform others of their preferred pronoun and how they would like to be referred to.
