Fremantle signs partnership with Jamie Oliver
Fremantle and the Jamie Oliver Group have signed a new multi-year partnership agreement, continuing their successful collaboration to bring culinary shows to audiences worldwide.

Since 2002, Fremantle has been Jamie Oliver’s TV distribution partner, ensuring his wide-ranging and award-winning content reaches a global audience. With 83 series and formats distributed to over 100 clients, Jamie Oliver’s shows have become a major hit in households across more than 200 territories.

In the US alone, where Fremantle has an ongoing deal with Tastemade, over 15 million hours of Jamie Oliver content have been streamed to seven million users. In Germany, RTL Deutschland is the exclusive home of Jamie Oliver’s entire portfolio of shows since autumn 2023.

Under the new agreement, Fremantle will hold global rights to Jamie Oliver’s TV distribution, AVOD (advertising video on demand), FAST (free ad-supported streaming TV) and digital platforms for an additional five years. The partnership also includes a joint commitment to exploring new entertainment opportunities.

Fremantle will focus on expanding Jamie Oliver’s AVOD and digital offerings, including the Jamie Oliver Channel, which was named FAST Channel of the Year in 2023. Currently available on 14 distribution platforms, including Pluto TV, the channel will continue to grow its presence, introducing new generations to Jamie’s culinary expertise.

Bob McCourt, Chief Operating Officer, Commercial and International at Fremantle, says: “We’re proud of the long-standing relationship that we have with Jamie to bring his content to a global audience. We’re incredibly excited to be continuing our partnership and look forward to expanding our offering across TV distribution, FAST, digital and branded entertainment. We’re thrilled that we can continue to grow the Jamie Oliver brand and be the best-in-class distributor of Jamie Oliver content globally."

Zoe Collins, Managing Director of the Jamie Oliver Group, adds: “I’m delighted to continue to build on our successful partnership with Fremantle as we look to supercharge Jamie’s profile in our priority territories across multiple customer touchpoints from FAST channels to YouTube, AVOD as well as more traditional broadcast platforms. We’re so proud of our back catalogue of shows and thrilled to find new ways to bring that content to new audiences, adding to Jamie’s real-world legacy.”

The partnership will be supported by Fremantle’s dedicated and specialist direct-to-consumer marketing, social and communications team.
