This year’s ceremony took place at the Astor Film Lounge in Munich for the first time. Together with its agency partners, RTL Deutschland took home 14 Gold Awards, nine Silver Awards, eight Bronze Awards and a Special Award for the NFL. Awarded annually, the Eyes & Ears Awards recognise the best work and creators in the fields of design, audio, digital, promotion and cross-media.

Special Award:
RTL Deutschland was given a Special Award for the NFL on flagship channel RTL, which was broadcast for the first time during the 2023/24 season, following the acquisition of the exclusive TV rights in 2022. The jury praised the “high technical quality” across all NFL formats and the “high-quality design” for the campaigns and spots. “The fast cuts, which perfectly reflect the dynamics of the sport, and the emotional, almost epic mood created, are striking,” said the jury. “RTL Deutschland is simply great at American football – it’s a match!”

Gédéon, the French design agency that supported RTL Luxembourg in joining the unified RTL brand identity, were awarded Bronze Awards in ‘Best Bumper or Station-ID Package’ and ‘Best New Design Package of a Channel or Platform’ for the rebranding of Gulli, the children’s channel from Groupe M6.
