Kristina Petrova, VP of Operations and Rights at We Are Era, on protecting online content rights, taking on motherhood and managing a team of international professionals in the next episode of RTL stories – The podcast.

Originally from a city on the Black Sea in Bulgaria, Kristina has lived, worked and studied in Bulgaria, the US, Denmark and is now a resident of Berlin, Germany. Kristina started her career as an intern at We Are Era, RTL Group’s talent agency. Fast forward a decade, and she is leading an international team of professionals as Vice President of Operations and Rights.

In the interview, Kristina talks about one of her greatest passions, IP (Intellectual Property), which was also the topic of her master’s dissertation. What was completely new back then soon became a booming industry, keeping Kristina and her team busy with protecting the digital content created by the talent pool of We Are Era.

“They broaden my perspective”, says Kristina about why she loves working in an international environment such as at We Are Era. Berlin, where the talent agency is headquartered, feels like a second home and a great place for her to combine the two main purposes of her life: motherhood and work.
