- With Fremantle, RTL Group owns one of the world’s largest independent creators, producers and distributors of content. Fremantle has an international network operating in more than 25 countries, producing more than 11,000 hours of original programming every year
- Fremantle focuses on entertainment, drama & film, and documentaries – growing both organically and through M&A.
3. Well-diversified and growing revenue streams
- RTL Group’s business model is to produce, aggregate, distribute and monetise the most attractive video content across all formats and platforms
- The acquisition of Sky Deutschland (DACH) is transformational for RTL Group. RTL Group’s pro-forma revenue including Sky Deutschland for 2025 was €8 billion, more than 30 per cent higher than RTL Group’s reported consolidated revenue for 2025 (€6 billion). Following the acquisition, RTL Group’s revenue split is expected to further diversify and will be well-balanced between advertising revenue (~40 per cent), subscription-based revenue (~27 per cent) and revenue from content production and distribution (~24 per cent).
4. Efficient cost structures and strong cash flow generation
- RTL Group’s revenues are generated on the basis of an efficient cost structure and strong cash flows
- This puts RTL Group in an excellent position to invest sustainably in its businesses across its strategic priorities – core, growth and alliances and partnerships – while ensuring attractive shareholder returns.
5. Attractive dividend policy
- RTL Group offers an attractive dividend policy with a pay-out ratio of at least 80 per cent of the Group’s adjusted full year net result, including cash capital gains.

- RTL Group is a responsible corporate citizen, creating value for viewers, listeners, digital users, partners, shareholders, employees and the wider society
- RTL Group focuses its Corporate Responsibility efforts on three priorities: content responsibility and journalistic independence, diversity and inclusion, and climate change – with the goal to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions by 50 per cent by 2030 compared to a 2018 baseline.
